Tackling legionellosis

DHW network temperature monitoring

In accordance with the latest regulations on legionella monitoring in domestic hot water (DHW) production, storage and distribution installations, our instruments measure the temperature of domestic hot water against this bacterium.

In all types of healthcare establishments and some public buildings, domestic hot water systems must protect users from legionellosis by maintaining a temperature above 50°C. This requires reliable measurements from instruments capable of providing accurate values in all conditions.

DATA LOGGING AND TRACEABILITY

Establishments such as medical centres, social centres, prisons, hotels and even campsites have a minimum obligation to measure the DHW temperature every month. For this, we recommend our portable thermometers fitted with a suitable contact probe.

Depending on your needs, you can opt for our TK 61 thermocouple thermometer, which can handle different types of contact probes. Or our Si-TT3, which connects wirelessly to your smartphone to save and send temperature reading reports (PDF, CSV, etc.).

SPOT MEASUREMENTS

Whether the regulations require daily or weekly monitoring, our stand-alone recorders and probes are an economical and effective way of carrying out your measurements, particularly at all risk points in the DHW network.

In healthcare establishments, measurements must be continuous. Loggers and their hook and loop contact probes are easy to install and provide accurate measurements. This data can be retrieved via a wireless network with our Tracklog models, or directly via a wired USB connection on the Kistock models.

Continuous Monitoring

In buildings equipped with BMS type monitoring or control systems, real-time monitoring of DHW temperature requires robust measuring equipment such as our stainless-steel probes. The readings from these fixed stations are then automated for the technical service teams.

Our Class A Pt100 temperature sensors offer a wide range of compatibility. Whether they are head-mounted (ST 50) or wired (SF 50), a standard 4-20mA converter enables them to communicate with all monitoring systems. And our thermowell makes it easy to check the probes without compromising the hermeticity of the installation.
